About the SDGs

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an international set of goals to be achieved by 2030, adopted at a United Nations summit in September 2015. They consist of 17 goals that address issues facing the entire planet, including poverty, hunger, health, equality, infrastructure development, and climate change, with the aim of creating a society where “no one is left behind” on the planet.

NTEC’s SDGs

We are currently working on our long-term vision (NTEC Vision 2030), which we aim to achieve by fiscal 2030. Among the 17 SDGs, those that are closely related to our business activities are broadly divided into the themes of “business activities” and “working environment,” and we are conducting activities with a shared awareness of contributing to the achievement of the following seven SDGs.

Initiatives in Business Activities

• Affordable and Clean Energy

  

  Pursue the ideal “heat generation equipment” in the new era

  In addition to activities aimed at reducing environmental impact, such as saving energy and reducing CO₂ emissions through high-efficiency boiler technology, we are focusing on promoting the development of technologies that utilize clean energy.

• Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

  

  Continue to be an indispensable presence for society as a specialized manufacturer of heat generation equipment

  Based on the technology and know-how we have accumulated over the years as a pioneer of boilers, we aim to expand our business field as a manufacturer specializing not only in boilers but also in a wide range of heat generation equipment.

• Responsible Consumption and Production

  

  Grow together by increasing the wealth of all stakeholders and contributing to society

  We are striving to improve our corporate strength to give back to society by building a production system that responds to changes in the social environment and by maintaining and improving quality.

• Climate Action

  

  Promote carbon neutrality by developing new thermal equipment business and pursuing further energy savings

  We aim to develop the boiler and heat generation equipment business for a decarbonized society by effectively utilizing heat pumps, renewable energy sources such as biomass and solar power, and hydrogen fuel.

• Partnerships for the Goals

  

  Promote collaboration with companies within and outside the NTEC Group to strengthen systems that can adapt to various social changes

  We are working to strengthen NTEC’s overall capabilities, including partnerships with companies within and outside the NTEC Group, to develop a variety of heat generation products and expand our delivery system.
